Pregnancy Update.. The past 7 Months

So here we are, 30 weeks later and I’m barely sharing this blog post with you. Honestly I don’t know why it took me forever to share this post, which I have been wanting to do for a long time. It never felt right, I was always super busy and honestly this pregnancy has gone by so fast! I can’t believe I’m 29 weeks and only have about 2 1/2 half left.

So I just want to take you quickly on the past 7 months. (Going to be completely honest here.)

How We Found Out..

Erick and I had been going back on of forth on having a 2nd child. We were happy with having only 1 but we also wanted to give Zoey a sibling. She also kept asking for a little sister. We didn’t actually plan having a 2nd one but God had different plans for us. It was July when I started to feel different a few weeks before my period but I didn’t think to much into it. Than I was a week late and than a 1 1/2 late and I knew something was not right. So I told Erick what was going on and decided to buy a pregnancy test. Sure enough it said WE ARE PREGNANT! I couldn’t believe it but was super happy we were, Erick was too. We were not expecting this at all but we knew it was right for our family.

How we told Zoey..

We waited 3 months before we actually told Zoey and it was super fun seeing her reaction. Like I said she has been asking for a little sister for a long time (lol not a little brother, a little sister) and we knew she was going to be super happy and excited when she found it. She couldn’t believe it either and started screaming once we told her. She has always been great with little kids, and she has such a caring good heart that we knew she would be a great big sis. For the 1st few weeks after that she kept asking me if I was ok and she continues to speak to by belly. I just love seeing her enjoy this so much.

How I’ve been Feeling..

We found out pretty early in the pregnancy, but time has really been our friend this time around. I can’t really explain it, but time has gone by super fast. I don’t know if its because it’s my second pregnancy and I know what to expect or if its because it has been a super easy pregnancy. Seriously the only thing that has not gone as planned is how big I have been getting. I started putting on the weight way faster than I did with Zoey. NO JOKE, I was looking 5 months pregnant when I was 3 months. CRAZY, but other than that I have been feeling pretty great. I did get a little nauseas in the beginning but nothing major, and I have been super tired.

WE ARE EXPECTING A…..

GIRL!!!!! YUP that is correct, another girl! We are so excited. Zoey wanted a little sister and Erick wanted a boy but when we found out it was a girl we knew this was perfect. I can’t wait for Zoey to have someone else by her side to take on the world. Erick is excited as well, yes it would have been nice to have a boy but Zoey has his heart and he knows it will be the same with the second one.

Her Name is..

Yes it already have a named picked out, Camila! We are still trying to decide a middle name for her but we do have some picked out. I wanted something short like Zoey Lexi so for Camila I really like Camila Renee!! It just sounds perfect. Erick likes Camila Aria, but we will see, I think Renee is going to win. Fun Fact: Zoey actually chose the name Camila, which makes it even more special.

My Due Date

So I’m due on April 1, yup April Fools Baby, but I’m really pushing for the end of March. My Birthday is actually March 26 so it would be pretty awesome if we can share the same birthday. Crazy thing is we have a lot of birthdays around this time so it’s going to be pretty interesting when she decides to make her debut into the world.
